COPAN Names VP Operations

Longmont, Colorado-based COPAN Systems, a provider of disk storage systems, said today that it has appointed Thomas Despres as Senior Vice President of Operations. Despres joins the firm from McData, and has also served at StorageTek. COPAN develops a power-optimized disk storage system that it is targeting at replacement of tape and other archiving systems.
