Revinetix Upgrades Backup Software

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Revinetix, a provider of disk-based backup software, said today it has released a major software upgrade. The firm's RevOS 2.0 software adds new support for Microsoft Exchange message-level backup, network attached storage support, better bare metal restore, and support for new operating systems. Among the upgrades are new ability to export storage via a LAN from the firm's appliances, turning the firm's disk-to-disk backup appliances into NAS servers.
