ContentWatch In Deal With Microsoft

Salt Lake City, Utah-based ContentWatch, a provider of parental control software, said yesterday that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Microsoft to provide its ContentProtect solution as part of Windows Vista. ContentWatch said that users of Microsoft's new operating system will be given the option to set the firm's product as its default Internet parental controls solution. The announcement comes as part of a push by Microsoft to show availability of third party security products for its Vista operating system. Microsoft announced Wednesday that a number of firms are working with the firm to ship Vista security products, including CA, McAfee, Kapersky Labs, GRISOFT, Symantec, ContentWatch, and others.
