silex, Bountiful WiFi Partner On Network Security Product

Salt Lake City, Utah-based silex technology and Salt Lake City, Utah-based Bountiful WiFi said today that the two have partnered to provide a fingerprint-based, access control system for WiFi local area networks. The two are bundling silex's SX-650 NetGuard WiFI network access control devices and a biometric fingerprint reader with Bountiful's wireless routers. The new product is targeted at providing biometric verification of users on a Wi-Fi network. silex is a developer of biometric readers and software; Bountiful WiFi develops wireless LAN routers and other hardware.
