Simplicita Taps Reputation Firms For Data

Denver, Colorado-based Simplicita announced today that it has opened up a program to aggregate real-time data for finding botnets. The firm's new Reputation Data Partner (RDP) program aggregates information from internet reputation data to identify botnet-hijacked computers. The firm said that the RDP program includes charter members Cloudmark, Habeas, Shadowserver, and Sophos. Simplicita is a provider of security software for managing broadband ISP customers.
