McData Upgrades Network Management Products

Broomfield, Colorado-based McDATA has upgraded the firm's Network Management Service, the company announced today. The firm's Network Management Service (NMS) product is now at version 2.2. The company said that the software, which is used to remotely monitor and manage the firm's ROC WDS Accelerator products provides real-time alerts on network issues and potential system outages, including monitoring connectivity and link failurs, application service and process failures, and other errors.
