Senforce Releases Upgrade, Launches Quick Start Program
Draper, Utah-based Senforce has upgraded the firm's Endpoint Security Suite Software, and rolled out a new program to promote the product. Senforce today said that its new ESS 3.2 software adds new enhancements for removable storage security, which allows system administrators to control what users may or may not connect to laptops or PCs. The software allows for the throttling of USB, FireWire, Bluetooth, Infrared, and PCMCIA ports. The upgraded software can also use serial number of those devices to restrict which removable devices can work with a latop or PC. The firm also rolled out a new Quick Start Program that it company said will help organizations rapidly implement its solution. Senforce will offer a number of different services to help companies implement its products, based on number of policies and endpoints in an enterprise. Senforce is backed by vSpring, Thomas Weisel Partners, American River Ventures, and EsNet.
