Colorado BioScience Association Awards Winners

The Colorado BioScience Association said today that it has awarded a number of firms for individuals and companies making a difference to Colorado's biotech industry in 2006. The group honored Paul Ray and Colorado Governor Bill Owens, both with a Lifetime Achievement award; Myogen as 2006 Company of the year; and C5 Medical Werks and Taligen Therapeutics with Rising Star awards. The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade also awarded Kyle Lefkoff, General Partner at Boulder Ventures, with an award for his investments in Colorado's bioscience companies. The winners will be presented an award at the group's upcoming BioWest conference next Thursday evening.
