COPAN Adds Encryption
Longmont, Colorado-based COPAN has just upgraded its disk storage solutions to support encryption. COPAN said today that its Revolution 220T and Revolution 220TX products now provide data encryption, as additional security protection for their data. COPAN said that it has added AES 128 encryption to its products, which are used as tape storage replacement and for archiving of data. Copan also said that its latest release adds additional tape library emulations, including LTO-3, SpectraLogic, Qualstar, Overland and StorageTek StreamLine SL 500 libraries. The products also now support the ACSLS (Automated Control System Library Server) standard, and NDMP (Network Data Management Protocol) backup support.
