CH2M Hill, ESRI Target Governments

Denver, Colorado-based CH2M HILL said today that it is in a relationship with ESRI, a provider of graphical information system (GIS) tools to develop spatial information management solutions for city, county, and state governments. The two are collaborating on a suite of applications for government agencies. The solutions include a customized driving direction system that uses ArcGIS to avoid construction zones; emergency vehicle tracking using GPS; hazmat identification systems; and an infrastructure management for utility and infrastructure crews. CH2M HILL provides business consulting, GIS, and other systems development services.
