MediConnect Gets New Funding
Salt Lake City, Utah-based MediConnect, a provider of online medical records retrieval software, has received a new round of funding, the company said today. MediConnect said that it has received a major funding round led by James Lee Sorenson, along with James LeVoy Sorenson and other individual investors. Terms of the funding were not disclosed. Original investor vSpring did not participate in this round. As part of the round, James Lee and James LeVoy Sorenson both join the company's board of directors, along with Dr. Naresh Trehan, of Global Health Private Ltd.
