Verio Launches Small Business Backup Service
Centennial, Colorado-based managed hosting and service provider Verio has launched another feature of its services, saying today that it is now offering a PC data backup service aimed at small and midsized companies. Verio said that it is tapping Iron Mountain, a provider of storage services and backup services to automatically back up and restore business files and data. The new service will offer from 2GB to 30GBs of backup storage and is priced at $14.95 for 2 GBs of backup per month. Iron Mountain has offered online server backup and recovery, and has purchased a number of online backup service providers in the last few years, including LiveVault and Connected Corp.
