NewsGator Releases Server Upgrade

Denver, Colorado-based has released a new version of its NewsGator Enterprise Server, its enterprise RSS aggregation product. NewsGator said yesterday that its new, version 1.3 of the software adds integration with Microsoft's popular SharePoint portal tool, a new feature to allow for the publishing of group clippings via an RSS feed, better search capability, and the ability to convert emails to RSS. Newsgator also added the ability for its users to customize and localize the software for foreign languages. NewsGator's software is used for aggregating RSS information within an enterprise. The firm's software can be access from within Microsoft Outlook, mobile devices, and the Web.
