Breece Hill Rolls Backup Appliance

Louisville, Colorado-based Breece Hill has rolled out a new, backup and recovery appliance focused on small and medium businesses and workgroups. The firm said today that its new BizGuardian backup and recovery appliance integrates EMC's Retrospect backup software, disk drives, and tape in a network appliance. The new appliance targets the recent trend to provide disk-to-disk backup bolstered by tape archive capability. Breece Hill said that its new appliance automatically scans the network, and backs them up to disk. Breece Hills is a provider of autoloaders, tape libraries, and other data storage products.
