Altiris Signs Singapore Health Insurer

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Altiris has signed a Singapore health insurer, NTUC Income, as a customer. Altiris said today that NTUC will use its Client Management Suite to manage its IT assets. The Altiris solution allows IT administrators to deploy and manage desktop systems. NTUC cited the speed of rolling out new applications using the Altiris solution, saying that it is using the software to deploy applications in two days with a single engineer, where it was taking the firm two months and seven engineers.
