Helius Adds Encryption For IPTV

Lindon, Utah-based Helius, which develops IP broadcasting systems for the IPTV network, has rolled out new, software-based encryption for its products. Helius announced today that its MediaLock for IPTV solution adds software-based encryption solutions for IPTV network operators. The addition allows IPTV set top box makers to change and adapt their encryption methods in real-time. Helius is a provider of technology for delivering broadband IP over satellites or local area networks.
