Ping Identity Upgrades Identity Software
Denver, Colorado-based Ping Identity Corporation has rolled out the latest version of its single-sign on software. The company said today that PingTrust version 1.1 adds additional security token support, new configuration options, and testing capabilities. Ping develops security services for the web services market, using the WS-Trust and OASIS Web Services Security (WSS) standard. The company's products are used by enterprises looking to allow web services components to use a single, security standard for usernames, passwords, and certifications. Ping is backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Fidelity Ventures, and General catalyst Partners.
