Linux Networx Raises $10M
Bluffdale, Utah-based Linux Networx has raised $10M in a Series C funding round, according to a regulatory filing with the SEC. Linux Networx provides high speed, clustered Linux supercomputing technology, and announced a major supercomputing win with the Department of Defense last week. Linux Networx is backed by Oak Investment Partners and Tudor Ventures. The firm targets the HPC (High Performance Computing) market with support of Linux-based, clustered servers, used to replace more expensive supercomputing equipment with cost optimized, commodity Linux-based server platforms.
