Altiris Secures Credit Card Data

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Altiris, a provider of software for IT lifecycle management, said this week that the firm has rolled out support for auditing data security standards set forth by the security standards set forth by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) to help protect credit card data. The company's SecurityExpressions product now checks for compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard. The software runs on Windows, Linux, and UNIX systems, and allows real-time network audits of comptuer systems.
