Jabber Scores Win In Portugal

Denver, Colorado-based Jabber has scored a win in Portugal. The developer of instant messaging software said today that Portugal Telecom's internet service subsidiary, SAPO, has licensed its Jabber XCP software for its customers. Portugal Telecom will use Jabber's instant messaging platforms, including its Jabber Instant Messaging and presence Service (Jabber IMPS) server etension, to allow mobile subscribers to access the same instant messaging services they can get via their desktop computers.
