SilentWhistle Announces Merger With Allegiance Technologies
Salt Lake City, Utah-based SilentWhistle has announced its merger with Allegiance Technologies. SilentWhistle provides a service that allows employees to report fraud or give feedback to employers anonymously. Allegiance Technologies provides web-based feedback management software targeted at companies looking to receive feedback from customers, employees, and partners. The merged companies will be known as Allegiance. SilentWhistle CEO Adam Edmunds will head the combined company. SilentWhistle was the result of a 2004 entrepreneurship competition at BYU, where CEO Adam Edmunds pitched and won funding for the firm. Allegiance Technologies was founded in 2000 by Gary Rhoads, a business professor at BYU.
