Omniture Appoints Legal Officer

Orem Utah-based Omniture said today that it has appointed Shawn Lindquist as Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. The firm said that Lindquist will be responsible for all legal aspects of the company's operations worldwide. Lindquist is the former in-house counsel at Novell, Inc., and has served at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, as well as Provo startup WhizBang! Labs. Lindquist is also an adjunct professor of law at Brigham Young University. Omniture is a provider of web analytics technology, used by companies to analyze their web site traffic and e-commerce.
