Qwest Expands Board of Directors

Denver Colorado-based Qwest Communications said yesterday that it has appointed two additional directors to its board. Qwest said that it has named Caroline "Caz" Matthews, president of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia, and R. David Hoover, Chairman, President, and CEO of Ball Corporation, to its board. Matthews previously served as president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Denver. Hoover is also a member of the University of Colorado at Denver Business School board of advisors. Qwest is a provider of high speed internet, data, video, and voice services.
