Provo, Utah-based cloud storage and archiving provider
FileShadow has added a new feature, which lets its users edit files storage in its service, the company said on Wednesday. According to FileShadow, it has added a new "Edit in Place" option which lets users find and modify files on their local or virtual desktops, using native applications, with any changes and revisions automatically protected within the FileShadow system. The company said the feature, in particular, will be useful to users of its new thin provisioned storage services for virtual desktops, letting users access all versions of their files in a virtual location, and also minimizing the amount of local storage required for machines.
