Denver's Blue Dot Solutions Acquired By Omnitracs
Denver-based Blue Dot Solutions, a developer of cloud-based software used for workflow management for the transportation industry, has been acquired by Dallas-based fleet management software developer Omnitracs. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Blue Dot was founded in 1988, and is best known for MilesAhead, a software product used for operations management by drivers, drive-managers, and others in the trucking and transportation industry. Omnitracs said it will integrate Blue Dot's platform and product suite into its product, Omnitracs One. Omnitracs is based in Dallas, Texas.
