Salt Lake City-based software developer Instasize, which was founded in 2012, said this morning that it has hit $14M in revenues, after reaching 500,000 paid subscribers to its service. The app developer creates software tools used to enhance photos by social media content creators. The company, led by founder and CEO Hector Lopez, says it now has 12 million monthly users of its app, which runs on both Android and iOS. The company's apps are used for modifying photos, including "beauty" features like removing acne spots and blemishes from selfies, whitening eyes, adding "skin glow" as well as resizing and formatting those social media posts.
