Healthgrades Buys Influence Health
Denver-based Healthgrades, which operates an online site which helps patients research and find information about physicians and hospitals, has acquired Influence Health, provider of consumer relationship management and marketing services to the healthcare market. Financial details of the buy were not announced. According to Healthgrades, the deal will expand its position in the healthcare market. Rupen Patel, the CEO of Influence Health, will become Chief Strategy Officer at Healthgrades. Healthgrades is led by CEO Rob Draughon. Influence Health is based in Birmingham, Alabama, and was founded in 1996.
