DVI Equity Partners Invests In Wasabi
DVI Equity Partners, which has offices in both Tucson and Denver, says it has made an investment in cloud storage company Wasabi. DVI Equity Partners did not say how much it invested in the $68M, Series B funding for Wasabi. Wasabi did not announce the investors in that funding, only saying it included industry veterans and family offices. DVI's Managing Partner Robert Griffin said that Wasabi is on its way to becoming an "international hot cloud storage leader." DVI Equity Partners is a newly formed investment fund, which says it was founded this spring and invests in early, stage emerging technology companies, with an emphasis on companies founded and led by women and minorities. DVI says it invests in such areas as national security, enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and data storage and analysis.
