SimpleNexus, a developer of mobile home mortgage software, has raised $20M in a funding round from Insight Venture Partners, the company announced this morning. According to SimpleNexus, the growth capital funding will go to accelerate continued growth and expansion at the company. The startup has created a mobile app and platform which helps mortgage lenders connect with borrowers and real estate agents, and is offered as a "private label" app to institutions under their own branding. SimpleNexus was founded and is led by CEO Matt Hansen. SimpleNexus said that, until the new funding round, it has been self-funded. The company says it serves 180 enterprise mortgage companies and more than 17,000 loan officers nationwide.
