Boulder-based bandwidth provider
Zayo Group Holdings says it has "significantly expanded" its footprint in the state of Texas this week, saying it has almost tripled its network footprint in that sate over the past two years. According to Zayo, it now has more than 450 customers in the state, after increasing its customer base by 33 percent. Zayo said its network--which spans Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Dallas/Ft. Worth--includes several major customers, including a fiber-to-the-tower (FTT) customer for a wireless provider in San Antonio and Austin, dark fiber for the state's fifth largest city, and a dark fiber deal with a regional school district.
