CoreSite Links Into Alibaba
Denver-based colocation and data center operator CoreSite says it is now giving its customers a direct connection into the cloud operations of giant Chinese e-commerce provider Alibaba, via new connectivity in Silicon Valley and Northern Virginia. According to CoreSite, its customers can now get direct interconnect into Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group. Alibaba has a competing service to Amazon Web Services (AWS), including its own private cloud, elastic computing, and object storage servics.
