Lehi, Utah- and Tel Aviv, Israel-based online family history site
MyHeritage
has announced a new product which helps its users understand their ethnic origins, the company announced this morning. The company said it has launched a "new and improved" Ethnicity Estimate, which helps customers figure out percentage-based estimates of their ethnic origins. MyHeritage says the service covers 42 ethnic regions. As part of the upgraded service, the company said it will provide its Ethnicity Estimate to users who already have had their DNA tested on another service for free, if those users upload their results to the service.
