Report: ViaWest On The Block
Greenwood Village-based datacenter operator Viawest is on the block, with current owner Shaw Communications looking for a buyer for the company, according to Reuters. Reuters cited "people familiar with the matter", saying that Shaw is looking to shed "non-core" assets. Shaw acquired ViaWest in 2014 from private equity investor Oak Hill Capital, paying around $1.2 billion for the company. Reuters said Toronto-Dominion Bank is handling the sale.
