Phoenix-based online used car seller
Carvana is in another expansion in Texas, saying it has opened up a new "car vending machine" in Dallas, Texas, where its customers can pick up their newly purchased vehicles. Carvana said it now has four of its "car vending machines" in Texas. Carvana allows users who have purchased a vehicle online to go to its highly visible vending machines, insert a giant coin, and collect their car, which is retrieved by a robotic system from an eight story tall "car vending machine" building, which can hold up to 30 cars. The company also will deliver within 100 miles of Dallas. The expansion comes as Carvana has been
in the midst of its IPO roadshow, in preparation for pricing of its IPO expected in just over a week.
