Versum Materials Expands In Pennsylvania
Tempe, Arizona-based Versum Materials, which supplies materials to the semiconductor industry, said Wednesday that it is expanding in Allentwon, Pennsylvania, the headquarters of its Delivery Systems and Service (DS&S) business. The company did not say how many it intends to hire in the expansion, but says it has many new positions for technicians, engineers, quality control personnel, and manufacturing and support staff at the 31,000 square foot facility. Versum Materials is a billion dollar spinout of Air Products, which created the new company in October of 2016, with headquarters in Tempe. Versum has over 1,900 employees, as of that spinout.
