Zayo Deploys In Houston For Super Bowl
Boulder-based Zayo Group said it was part of the infrastructure efforts for this weekend's Super Bowl 51, where it installed more than 120 small cell sites in Houston for two wireless carriers at NRG Stadium and Discovery Green Park. Zayo said that the more than 1 million people in Houston for the Super Bowl approximately doubled wireless demand in the city. Zayo did not say how much the contract for those sites was worth.
