The sale of Salt Lake City-based LANDESK, the developer of IT operations and security software, by Thoma Bravo to Clearlake Capital Group is now complete, according Thoma Bravo. Financial details of the sale were not announced by the private equity companies involved in the deal. Thoma Bravo acquired LANDESK in 2010. Thoma Bravo said it was advised by Kirkland & Ellis LLP in the deal, with UBS Investment Bank serving as financial advisor. LANDESK, Thoma Bravo, and Clearlake Capital had announced the deal on January 3rd. Clearlake Capital has not detailed any changes it plans on making at LANDESK, which is still led by CEO Steve Daly.
