Best Buy Opens Teen Tech Center In Denver
Electronics retailer Best Buy announced this morning that it has opened up a new "Teen Tech" center in Denver, the latest to provide access to technology to underserved teens. According to Best Buy, the expansion in Denver is part of a wider growth of its centers nationwide. Best Buy says it is opening up nine new centers--including the one in Denver--to bring its total to 20 locations in "challenged urban" communities. Best Buy said the center is part of an effort to provide tech education to students, and to address "wide disparities" among youth from lower-income families without computers and Internet connections. Best Buy did not detail the exact location of its new Denver Teen Tech Center in its announcement.
