Techstars Powers Up New Accelerator For Amazon's Alexa
Boulder-based startup accelerator operator Techstars is powering up yet another accelerator, this time one in Seattle, focused on Amazon.com's Alexa voice technology. Techstars said that the Alexa Accelerator, powered by Techstars, will be offered in a partnership with Amazon's Alexa Fund, and will focus on early stage companies advancing the state-of-the-art in voice-powered technologies, interfaces and applications, with a focus on Alexa domains such as connected home, wearables and "hearables", enterprise, communication devices, connected car and health and wellness. Applications open in January, and the program will start in July.
