CaliberMind, a startup developing predictive marketing software, announced this morning that it has raised $1.1M in a seed funding round. The funding round came from CEB Ventures, the venture arm of CEB, Meritage Funds, PV Ventures, and Crawley Ventures. The startup, led by Raviv Turner, uses machine learning and human language analysis to create a "psychographic persona" to predict a buyer's behavior, the company says, which it says can shorten the sales cycle for its customers. The company says its current clients include Citrix and NetApp.
