Zayo Wins Another Wireless Carrier
Boulder-based Zayo Group reported Friday morning that it has been selected by another, major wireless carrier, for two metro area fiber installations. According to Zayo, the un-named carrier will tap Zayo for an "over the top" fronthaul solution, providing incremental fiber to supplement its existing networks; the carrier also will use Zayo in another market, to help add service to a new cluster of sites, using Zayo's existing metro dark fiber. Financial impact of the win was not announced.
