Techstars Gets Exit At Patient IO
Boulder-based startup accelerator Techstars can tick off another exit from its portfolio of startups: Austin-based Patient IO. Health technology company Athenahealth said Monday that it has acquired Patient IO, to help gain access to Patient IO's expertise in care coordination and patient self-management. Patient IO was founded in 2013, and was part of Techstars Austin that same year. The company was founded by Jason Bornhorst, Colin Anawaty, and Brian Gambs.
