Eastwind Networks Raises $5.5M For Breach Detection Tools
Salt Lake City-based Eastwind Networks, a developer of hybrid network breach detection systems for the government and enterprise market, has raised $5.5M in a seed extension round, the company said this morning. The funding was led by Singla Peak Ventures, and also included Cybersecurity Investments. The company says it has now raised $6.5M. Eastwind Networks is led by CEO and President Paul Kraus. The company said the funds go towards product development and R&D, plus sales and marketing.
