Boulder-based startup accelerator operator
Techstars says it has opened up applications for a new, cybersecurity "pre-accelerator", which it is running with government contractor
Booz Allen Hamilton. The
Startup Next Cybersecurity pre-accelerator, which is being held in Washington, D.C., is a six week program which offers up mentorship, access to a network of investors, mentors, and founders, and a stable of curriculum on growing startups, and is being run by Techstars' Startup Next unit. Startup Next focuses on very early, startup ideas and founders, versus Techstars other accelerator programs, and does not include an equity investment component--it's also part time, 2-3 hours weekly--meant for those not yet fully committed to a startup.
