Denver-based email delivery provider SendGrid said today that it is planning for major employee growth in Colorado, with a new space on California Street in Denver. SendGrid said the new location will accommodate up to 450 employees, and help it consolidate its employees into a single location. SendGrid--led by Sameer Dholakia--said the consolidation will let it accommodate more than 2 times its current number of employees. The new office will swallow up two separate locations in downtown Denver, plus some of the company's Boulder employees. SendGrid did say that it expects to continue to maintain a "limited presence" at its Boulder location, which it says is an "important source of technology entrepreneurship and recruiting in Colorado." To keep those offices connected, SendGrid said it will be running a Wi-Fi enabled shuttle service to connect its Boulder and Denver offices.
