Level 3 Ties Into Amazon Web Services
Broomfield, Colorado-based
Level 3
has linked up its network to Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud-based server network run by Amazon.com. According to Level 3, it has become an Advanced Partner as part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The deal includes a direct link into Amazon.com's data center, via AWS Direct Connect. AWS Direct Connect offers up private network connections to Amazon Web Services, which dramatically cuts latency to access those servers.
