Draper, Utah-based StorageCraft, the developer of backup and disaster recovery software, said this week that it has launched a big update to its backup management software, StorageCraft ImageManager. The company said it has added new features as pre-staging of local backups in a virtual machine for standby failover use; backup image verifiation; and better control over backup transfers via FTP, among other features. StorageCraft is among Utah's most well funded software companies, having recently raised a giant $187M, private equity investment from TA Associates in January.
