Techstars has further expanded, this time to a new, Internet-of-Things (IoT) accelerator in New York City. Techstars said its new
Techstars IoT Accelerator is being run in partnership with PwC, GE, Bosch, SAP and Verizon, with a focus on startups in the areas of software and artificial intelligence, connected enterprise, smart cities and energy, advanced manufacturing, health and wearables, logistics and automotive, VR, AR, drones and robotics, agriculture, and the connected home. The company opened up applications for the new accelerator on Monday; the program is expected to run from September 28, 2016 until January 18, 2017.
