SomaLogic, a developer of technology for the life science research, diagnostics, and drug discovery and development industries, has raised $60.5M in a funding round, the company said today. The funding--a combination of debt and equity--came from Visium Healthcare Partners. SomaLogic, which is led by Byron Hewett, said the funding will go towards growth efforts at the company. SomaLogic's technology is used for protein biomarker diagnostics, and include reagents which help measure and characterize proteins.
