Techstars is the lead investor today in
StatMuse, a provider of sports statistics software, and has added Managing Partner Mark Solon to the StatMuse board. According to StatMuse, it raised $10M in its Series A funding, which came from Techstars, The Walt Disney Company, Allen & Co., Greycroft Partners, Promus Ventures, Haas Portman, Deep Fork Capital, and Bee Partners. The funding also included former NBA commissioner David Stern and the United Talent Agency. StatMuse was part of the Disney Accelerator, run by Techstars, and is based in San Francisco, California.
